What is "Old Style"?
In
2003 Hershey'sŪ changed their packaging
from foil and paper covered candy bars
to sanitary plastic flow pack type candy
wrappers. Many people did not like the
look of this
change in packaging as we had then, and still
get, many requests for the foil covered
candy bars. To compensate for this, we had to come up with a way to
cover these brown plastic wrappers to
make them look similar to the way they
used to look.
Our " Old
Style" candy wrappers are the
same wrappers we made before Hershey'sŪ
changed their packaging, but we didn't
like the brown plastic Hershey's wrapper
sticking out of the ends... So, we found
a supplier of candy wrapping foil paper,
just like Hershey's used to be wrapped
in and began using this to over wrap the
Hershey'sŪ bar before adding your
personalized paper candy wrapper. For
freshness and sanitation of your candy,
we do not remove Hershey'sŪ original
plastic wrappers. We tuck the
plastic wrapper ends under and cover the
entire candy bar with a sheet of foil
candy wrapper paper, then apply your
personalized wrapper over the
foil.

We use
one sheet of candy wrapping foil with "Old
Style" for every "Old
Style" wrapped candy bar.
We offer a choice of 7 foil
colors.
We
use a glue stick on the back of the candy bar to hold the wrapper closed.
